This is a sketch of the crazy yelling dude who told me not to sketch him.
Yelled at me in fact. Clearly I didn't listen.

Subway Yelling..
While on the subway home this evening, I got yelled at by a guy that I was sketching.
He had a really interesting face, and I was trying to capture all of the details, during which he berated me in a heavy Indian accent for sketching him. He then yelled at me to stop.
Meanwhile, the woman next to me complimented me on my art skills. I guess some people are really sensitive. Luckily, I got most of him down before he started yelling and before my stop came.
I will be posting that sketch soon.

Name change
So after thinking things over I have decided on changing the name of the blog to "Murdock Ink".
I think that it runs off the tongue better and is easier to remember.

Less than Nothing Video Cover
This is an image from the "Less Than Nothing" music video cover
that we shot a long time ago. The video made no sense, but the cover was at least pretty.
Lt. Vasquez (Aliens)
I wanted to try and get more of a streamlined animation style to the sketch. So I did a pen sketch of Lt. Vasquez from Aliens, and then traced her on a light box (from my old animation days).
The result is a clean drawing with clean lines, ripe for painting.
I might paint her when I have a moment.

This is a sketch I did of Peter Cushing as Grand Moff Tarkin.
I had painted this, but I didn't like the way that it came out, so I am going to do it over eventually!!!!!
